#UgTeachersStrike Shame/Frustration that come when teachers fail to provide for their families.
Lacking economic opportunity among teachers, police and other low paid officers of government after 30 years of NRM brings shame.
Teachers, policemen have had their families get eroded away.
Jessica Musiime says "the poverty we go through brings the shame on us,failing to provide for one's family "
Musiime says children know we work and expect good things.
There is discrimination in this government, those who give alot of output earn less while MPs get alot for little in put.
Musiime says she has worked for 7 years but no hope of owning property or a better loan to invest in a business.
"Its one family in Uganda which is amassing wealth to help future generations, why cant they leave power".
After 30 years the income gap is widening everyday.
Teachers have refused government's statements asking them to be gratiful.
Lack of basic services is a vicious cycle, our children cannot compete for better jobs.
NRM has killed economic opportunity for many but it was hidden in security.
Overcoming the current problems is rooted in politics of one man who has taken Uganda as his home.
